Manatee/Sarasota area--Florida pro-Libertarian activist Walt Augustinowicz is a case study in not just citizen activism but applied Libertarianism, say friends. He's developed a simple shield sleeve to protect ID and credit cards from being improperly scanned. It's attracting both national and international attention. Users of the product say it can help against both snooping and ID theft.
Walt was an LP Florida Vice Chair, is an LIO Advisor and presently active in promoting Libertarian-interest solutions with members of the local GOP.
