In 2005 Libertarians and Democrats formed a coalition (http://www.ERCPinellas.org) in Florida to create better ballot fairness. One issue was fairer districts, and now a website is up so you can take action. Libertarians have helped form broad coalitions driving election reform in Florida. In 1984 MG and Ralph Swanson called an activist's meeting and pointed out that with the initiative process the LPF had all it needed to develop a pro-Libertarian constituency (through petition contact) and implement Libertarian policies. This turned into a party wide discussion on how to fight Florida's draconian ballot laws, that made third party candidacies basically impossible.
